• iOS: Why can't I save my downloads in Camera Roll?

  When you first install the app, the app will ask for permission to access the camera roll.

  Without this permission, the app will not be able to save images and animations... To change the permission, select "SETTINGS", "PRIVACY", "PHOTOS", then change the setting to "ON" for 3DiLLUSTRATOR.

• iOS: How do I turn off Push Notification?

  Our weekly discounts are sent via the push notification, to turn off these messages for any app:

  - select "settings", select "Notification Center", scroll to the bottom to a section called "Included", tap on any app you wish to disable the push notification, turn off "Show in Notification Center."

• Why are the in-app purchases are so pricey?

  We currently have one super fast server in USA and one in Europe, with plans to launch another one in Australia to cover far east region... AND... They are VERY EXPENSIVE!!!

  When a hair style, color, or outfit is selected within the app, the finished image you see on the screen, does not exist. We have servers that create that image in real time from several pre-existing renders. For example, when a 3072x3072 px image is selected for download, the servers use 440 pre-rendered images from the library to compose and create the final download... For an animation that has 50 frames, the server creates each frame in real time from 8 other pre-renders, it then creates a movie from those temporary frames. You can imagine that these servers have to be incredibly fast with lots and lots and lots of hard drives. Now that you have an idea of what goes on in the background, you could understand why it is so pricey... HOWEVER, we are still much cheaper than any other image and video library... And we offer full customization where no other service does.

• How to Select a Character?

  From the top menu in 3DiLLUSTRATOR, click on CHARACTERS

  You will see currently available characters and their names, plus future characters labeled as 'coming soon'. Select one of the available characters by clicking the thumbnail.

• How to Select a Skin Color for a Character?

  From the top menu in 3DiLLUSTRATOR, click on SKIN

  You will see currently available skin colors for the character you selected. Select one of the available skin colors by clicking the thumbnail.

• How to Select an Eye Color for a Character?

  From the top menu in 3DiLLUSTRATOR, click on EYES

  You will see currently available eye colors for the character you selected. Select one of the available eye colors by clicking the thumbnail.

• How to Select a Hair Style and Color for a Character?

  From the top menu in 3DiLLUSTRATOR, click on HAIR

  You will see currently available hair styles for the character you selected in the left hand column of thumbnails. Select a hair style by clicking one of the style thumbnails, and the available hair colors for that style will display in the right hand column of thumbnails. You may then select a hair color by clicking one of the available hair color thumbnails.

• How to Select an Outfit and Color Pattern for a Character?

  From the top menu in 3DiLLUSTRATOR, click on OUTFITS

  You will see currently available outfits for the character you selected in the left hand column of thumbnails. Select an outfit by clicking one of the style thumbnails, and the available outfit colors and patterns for that style will display in the right hand column of thumbnails. You may then select an outfit color pattern by clicking one of the available color pattern thumbnails.

• How to Customize a Character's Action?

  From the top menu in 3DiLLUSTRATOR, click on ACTIONS

  You will see currently available actions for the character you selected. Select one of the available actions by clicking the thumbnail.

• How to Customize a Character's Emotion?

  From the top menu in 3DiLLUSTRATOR, click on EMOTIONS

  You will see currently available emotions for the character you selected. Select one of the available emotions by clicking the thumbnail.

• How to Select a Custom Zoom Level and Viewing Angle for a Character?

  To Zoom In, you have the following options:

  - Double click your mouse to the location you wish to zoom.

  - Use the scrolling mouse wheel.

  - Double tab with your fingers to the location you wish to zoom.

  - Pinch open with your fingers to the location you wish to zoom.

  To Zoom Out, you have the following options:

  - Use the scrolling mouse wheel.

  - Pinch close with your fingers.

  To Pan, you have the following options:

  - Left mouse click and drag, or

  - swipe your finger.

  To Spin/Tilt in 3D, you have the following options:

  - Use the arrow icons, or

  - the arrow keys on your keyboard.

• What Resolution Size Do I Need?

  Print book or presentation vs eBook

  3072x3072 px for all prints. 15036x15036 px for eBooks or online presentation.

• After I Download a Character, Can I Easily Overlay it on top of another Image or Background within My Book?

  Yes,

  each image is formatted with a transparent background so that it can overlay any other image or background that you use to illustrate your book.

• How Often Will New Characters be Added?

  We are adding new characters on a regular basis.

  As a character becomes available, you will be able to see it in the CHARACTER selection screen.

• What Types of Characters will be Added in the Future?

  We will be adding several age ranges of male and female characters in both cartoon and 3D realistic styles.

  The addition of animal characters is also a priority.

• Will Other Types of Illustrations Be Offered in the Future?

  Once we have a large number of characters to offer,

  we will begin offering backgrounds and props so that you can build an entire scene within your book.
